Alexia SynderFounder | President with 15+ years in PR, Social Media & Digital Marketing
Alexia Snyder is a seasoned bilingual communications specialist, on-air host, and content producer whose passion for storytelling is deeply rooted in her upbringing within the broadcast industry.
From a young age, she immersed herself in media, launching her career at 15 with roles in Spanish-language talk shows, commercials, TV series, and soap operas. Her talent extended to music, leading to a Sony Music-produced pop single that charted on the Latin Billboard Pop Charts. Building on this foundation, Alexia earned a Master’s degree in Communication Studies from Florida State University, followed by a successful career in international lifestyle public relations, where she honed her skills in crafting compelling content for global brands.
Today, she leverages her extensive experience as a freelance content producer and on-air host, representing brands like Disney and BaubleBar on HSN and collaborating with leading lifestyle brands across various media platforms.
Recognizing the power of community and collaboration, Alexia established St. Pete Gals, the influencer marketing branch of The Gala Group. This thriving community empowers female content creators and entrepreneurs throughout Tampa Bay and beyond, fostering connections and providing opportunities to showcase the best of the local scene. St. Pete Gals specializes in influencer-driven events that generate high-quality content and brand exposure, making it an ideal platform for businesses seeking authentic engagement.
Mary SmithAccount Manager | Graphic Design with 7+ years in PR, Social Media, & Design
Mary is multidisciplinary artist and graphic designer, she brings a strong foundation in fine arts and a deep passion for creative expression. Mary earned a Bachelor of Arts in Painting and Printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University. Mary’s career path has been dynamic post graduation - including over seven years of experience working in education with children with special needs—an experience that deeply informed her understanding of communication, empathy, and importance of connection.
In 2022, Mary relocated to Florida to fully immerse myself in design and visual media. She has also worked in the Pinellas County Public school system and enrolled at St. Petersburg College to pursue a certification in graphic design - where she developed a broad skill set in digital design, branding, and web development. During this time, Mary created the first mock website for St. Pete Gals, which led to a meaningful collaboration with Alexia and a creative opportunity that continues to evolve.
Since then, Mary has embraced every step of this journey with curiosity and commitment—refining her skills, expanding her creative network, and contributing to a purpose-driven, inspiring community. Mary is honored to serve as Creative Director for St. Pete Gals, and is excited to continue building thoughtful, impactful design work that brings their shared vision to life.
